This soup looks very nice a lot like minestrone. I love a good soup on a cold day and what better to go with soup then a nice loaf of fresh bread. Enjoy
Last Friday was Valentine’s Day and I spent it single for the 21st year in a row. No big. I cooked a dinner for myself that far surpassed anything to be found at an overcrowded, chain restaurant. Italian Sausage & Tortellini Soup and Beer Bread. Oh me oh my. Delish. MM MM Good. Yummalicious. Every possible expression can be applied to this meal. It was off the chain. Ok. Now I’m done.
Anyway, my Valentine’s present to myself was a hearty, home-cooked comfort dinner. There’s not much more comforting than Italian Sausage & Tortellini Soup. Its chunky and savory and altogether wonderful. This recipe makes a pot to feed an army for a night or a college kid for a week.
